Artfest FAQs

Q:  Why is the Artfest two weekends?

A:  Because there are two different shows!  When the June Show artists check out, the July Show artists start to set up their booths for the next weekend's Artfest.  Check out our June Show and July Show lists (available online by May 6th) to see which weekend your favorite artists will be here... but plan to discover some exciting new talent in the other show, too!

Q:  Can I bring my dog?

A:  Sorry, Pets are not permitted at the Artfest.

Q: Can I take photographs?

A:  For any photographs that would show an artist's work in detail, we ask that you get the approval of the artist(s) whose work will appear in your picture.  If you want to take photos for your own personal, non-commercial use on the Artfest grounds, you may do so only if the photographs are overview/landscape type photographs. Photography is not allowed at all in the Artfest Awards Gallery.

Q: Can I return to the show for free?

A:  You may return to the same weekend's show at no additional charge if you pick up a return voucher at the Information Office.

Q. Can I bring a picnic or a cooler?

A:  No.  We do have a grill area where we offer sandwiches, salads, beverages, etc., and we have an ice cream counter as well.  If you would like to picnic, however, you can do so in one of the picnic areas in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
