Any Boy Scout can purchase a discount ticket through Great Trail Council Akron to be used on this weekend. The ticket holder then pays $35 to ski or $40 to snowboard to Boston Mills/Brandywine. Ticket holder receives:
(1) All Day, all area lift ticket (does not include LateNight Session)
(1) Complete ski or snowboard rental package
(1) One-hour beginner group lesson (at Brandywine only)
Reservations for lesson must be made in advance through Great Trail Council Akron as well.

Hope on the Slopes is a unique charity event where people can ski, snowboard, or tube to raise money for The Kylie Jane Long Foundation, local charity that helps children who are facing life-threatening illnesses.
Registration 8:30am-9:30am outside Info Office. Entry Fee $10. Race at 10:00am on Croyle Race Hill: 1 run Slalom and 1 run Giant Slalom, combined time. Open to all ages, male and female categories. Skiers only. Medals for the top 3 racers in each group: 8 & under, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 17, 18 to 35, 36 to 45, 46 to 54, 55 & over.
We've revamped the parks and renewed our committment to the freestyle scene all season long. Now it's time to celebrate--with fun and competition! We have over $5000 worth of prizes/giveaways to hand out over the weekend, and the goal is to ultimately enjoy, appreciate, encourage and respect our fellow snow-riders!

Try your "Luck of the Irish" in this 2-run Giant Slalom qualifier! The 8 fastest times on each course advance to the elimination rounds in the afternoon. Awards for the top 4 in each age group: 11 & under, 12-17, 18-40, 41 & over.
Registration 8:30am-9:30am, Racing begins at 10am on Croyle. Entry fee $10. Men, Women, Skiers and Snowboarders are combined.

10:30am = Fire Hose Race Register : 9am-10am, check-in at top of Buttermilk at 10:15am Teams of 4 will ski or snowboard through a series of gates. All teammates must be holding the 50 foot long fire hose for the duration of the race, and each team gets 1 run. Prizes given to top 3 teams! You must register as a team. Under 18 must have parental signature on release agreement.
