New This Season

NEW SNOW TUBING PARK! After a $1.5 million construction project is complete, Dover Lake Waterpark will be transformed into a new snow tubing park called Polar Blast at Brandywine. The park will offer 15-20 different lanes and take up the approximate area of 5 football fields! The Polar Blast park will have its own ticket office and parking lot.

11 state-of-the-art SMI Super PoleCat snowmaking guns will give us the ability to lay down 12 inches of snow in 24 hours if conditions are appropriate. Those enjoying the ride down the Polar Blast chutes will experience a fun, effortless ride uphill as well, courtesy of 2 Wonder Carpet (conveyor) lifts. More details to come...

Terrain Parks Revamped: We are reworking The Park at Brandywine with an eye toward improving the flow, and The Park will remain BMBW's premier freestyle terrain area. An area to the side of Outer Limits, newly acquired in the purchase of Dover Lake Waterpark, will become a progression park with smaller terrain features for newer freestylers. The rail park at the bottom of Regulator Johnston may again be utilized at Brandywine, and the area at the side of Buttermilk may offer a couple of small terrain features at Boston Mills.

New Rental Equipment: 200 pairs of new Head skis (120-170cm) and Tyrolia SP 100 bindings, 200 pairs of new Head RR8 boots, and 100 new Rossi Accelerator S BMP snowboards will be added to the BMBW rental equipment fleet for the 2007/2008 season.

Lodge Upgrades: Both Boston Mills and Brandywine are sporting new coats of paint and a fresh new trim color! New carpeting was added at Boston Mills outside of the Information Office. The "flag bank" area at BM was redone to add extra Handicap-friendly parking and increase the space available in the turnaround.
