Snow Report

Updated Monday, May 4, 2009.

We will be updating the Snow Report regularly again in the early winter once we're able to start making snow!  Generally, BMBW opens sometime in December, and remains open until sometime in March... but of course Mother Nature has a big say in that, and we never quite know what she's going to throw at us.  Stay tuned!

Also, keep in mind that we have a few things going on at the ski resorts over the summer... Thomas the Tank Engine will be visiting (courtesy of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad--see their site for details) in May, and Boston Mills hosts the nationally recognized Boston Mills Artfest in June and July!

Upcoming Events

* Shows hours we plan to be open today. For a full listing of our regular hours of operation, visit our Hours Page. Please note that when Midnight Madness is are held, Ski Patrol usually conducts a hill sweep at the end of the regular session. Hill sweeps generally take about half an hour, and during this time all of our guests have to come off of the slopes temporarily.

** Surface conditions listed are at opening time and are subject to change due to weather, time of day, skier traffic and other factors.

*** All open lifts operate on an as-needed basis. On weekdays at Boston Mills when only one lift is needed on the north side of the bridge, we will alternate between Lift #5 (Tues-Thurs) and Lift #6 (Mon-Wed-Fri).

**** Especially on days when snowmaking has occurred overnight, every trail may not open right at opening time. If there is a lot of snow to push or fine-tuning to be done on the surface, a staggered start may be necessary to ensure that the snow conditions on each trail are optimized for your enjoyment.

***** Freestyle terrain areas will close approximately 30 minutes before the rest of the slopes. Smart-Style YOUR activities while utilizing any free-style terrain. MAKE A PLAN prior to using any feature or element, and remember that RESPECT GETS RESPECT...from the lift-lines through the Parks!
