Snow Squad for Ages 8 thru 12

Take on the slopes and master the snow! Snow Squad includes 6 weeks of lessons for all ability levels--from beginner skiers and snowboarders to those who want to learn the advanced techniques of freestyle, racing and all mountain riding. The program includes snow/lift tickets, rental equipment (if applicable) and two hours of lessons each week.

The Snow Squad Program 

Snow Squad lessons are held at both resorts but snowboarding is only available at Brandywine. The Saturday and Sunday afternoon lessons run from 1:30pm-3:30pm. The Sunday morning lessons run from 9:30am-11:30am. Snow Squad lessons start the weekend of 1/5/08-1/6/08.

The child must take his or her lesson at the same time and resort for the entire six weeks. supervision is not provided before or after the lessons. Make-up lessons are not available if a student is absent from a regularly scheduled class. However, if Boston Mills/Brandywine must cancel, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.

Additional Slope Time 

On-slope time is available before and/or after each scheduled lesson time for the duration of the program. Participants are not able to come out and ski or snowboard before the first scheduled lesson day, however. On the last day, parents can ski with their children for free--we provide the lift tickets and rentals, if needed.

After the six weeks of lessons are complete, children who participate are welcome to visit BMBW on their scheduled day only, as long as they wear their assigned neck tag, for the remainder of the season to practice their skills at no additional cost.

*Open House will be held Oct. 17, 18 & 19 at Boston Mills. No telephone or mail orders accepted for Open House prices. On site and online purchasing available that weekend only for Open House pricing. No exceptions.

Signing Up

Program size is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. You must sign up for the program by 12/01/08 and proof of age may be required. When you sign up for the program, you will receive a letter (in person) or an additional email (if ordering online) that confirm's your child's enrollment and lets you know how to plan for the first lesson.

When you sign up, we require you to provide us with a parent's email address as well.  We will email you several times during December with information you need on what to wear, what to expect, etc. We will also use this email address to let you know of any changes in the upcoming weekend's lessons.
