Tickets, Rentals & Lessons

Everybody needs a valid snow/lift ticket to be out on the snow at Boston Mills and Brandywine.  Some people need ski or snowboard equipment rental as well, and lessons are always a good idea--whether you're just getting started on the slopes or want to hone your skills.  Check out the 08/09 ticket, rental and lesson pricing here!

Lift Tickets 

Snow/lift tickets serve as your admission--everyone who goes on the snow at Boston Mills or Brandywine needs to wear a current, valid snow/lift ticket! Regular snow/lift ticket pricing can be found here... and you might want to check our Ticket Specials Page for extra deals and packages, too.

Adults are ages 13 & over.  Juniors are ages 5-12.  Children 4 & under, and Seniors 70 & over, receive free snow/lift tickets at the ticket windows. Midnight Madness sessions begin 12/26 and 12/27 at Brandywine and are held on Fridays and Saturdays only through 2/27.

Equipment Rentals 

Boston Mills and Brandywine rent ski, snowboard and Snowblade equipment on a first-come, first-served basis.  Our rental fleet includes ski boots from child size 6 thru adult 16, and snowboard boots from child size 13 thru adult 15.

Adults are ages 13 & over.  Juniors are ages 5-12.  Children 4 & under pay the Junior Price; Seniors 70 & over pay the Adult Price. Rental prices are valid for any one session.  Snowboards and snowboard boots are only available for rental as a complete set.

Ski and Snowboard Lessons 

Whether you have never been on skis or a snowboard before, or are just interested in improving your existing skills, Boston Mills/Brandywine SnowSports School has a lesson option that will fit your needs. No matter which option you choose, our staff of friendly and qualified ski and snowboard instructors will be happy to help you advance on the slopes!

Beginners looking for an all-inclusive package to get started on the slopes should check out the Beginner Intro Package and Kids Kamp options below. Our Pick-A-Day Pass includes a number of complimentary lessons. Multiweek programs are available for children ages 3 & 4 (Tiny Tots), ages 5-7 (Mogul Mites) and ages 8-12 (Snow Squad)... the Women's Snow Discovery is a great option for women 21 & over of all ability levels... and the Learn to Race Program and Freestyle Bootcamp are wonderful specialty lesson programs.

We do offer regular one-time lesson options as well:

Group Lessons are available to ages 8 & over.  Beginner lessons are held at 10:30am, 1pm and 7pm weekdays, and at
10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm (except no 7pm lesson on Super Saver Sundays) on
weekends and when holiday hours are in effect.  Intermediate/Advanced group lessons begin 30 minutes after the Beginner lessons.  No advance reservations are necessary to join these lessons, but we recommend that you arrive at the resort 45 minutes before the scheduled lesson time of your choice

Semi-Private Lessons are available for ages 6 & over (ski) or 8 & over (snowboard) and consist of 2 students of approximately the same age and ability level.  (The SnowSports School has final determination of whether the match of age and ability level is appropriate for the lesson.)  Private Lessons are one-on-one instruction and can be taken at any age.  Both Semi-Private and Private Lessons can be scheduled via the following means:

Advance Lesson Reservations:

• Require a nonrefundable, paid deposit, because you are reserving an instructor, who could otherwise be utilized for other lessons, with your reservation.  (Pick-A-Day Passholders who utilize this method to schedule a private lesson forfeit that lesson if they do not show up for it on time.)
• Are scheduled during the following times:  PRIVATE SKI LESSONS: Weekdays at Boston Mills between 10am-2pm, Weekends at Boston Mills or Brandywine 10am-3pm.  PRIVATE SNOWBOARD LESSONS: Weekends at Boston Mills or Brandywine between 10am-3pm.
• We schedule one lesson per hour.
• Are scheduled by calling 800-875-4241, ext. 6., at least 24 hours in advance.
• Those with advance lesson reservations check in at the SnowSports School upon arrival. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance if you have your own equipment; 30 minutes in advance if you have to pick up rental equipment instead.

Walk-Up Reservations:

• Are taken on a first-come, first-served basis
• Can be made during the following times:  Between open-2pm on weekdays (Boston Mills only) from 9am-11am on Saturdays or Sundays, and from 5pm-7pm on Saturdays.
• Are made by stopping by the SnowSports School Office before you go to the ticket window.

Beginner Intro Package

The Beginner Intro Package is a great way for ages 8 & over to get started skiing or snowboarding! The package includes an All Day, Beginner Area Only snow/lift ticket, equipment rental, and 1 hour group lesson for just $49. Beginner lessons are held at 10:30am, 1pm and 7pm weekdays, and at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm (except no 7pm lesson on Super Saver Sundays) on weekends and when holiday hours are in effect.

No advance reservation is needed for the Beginner Intro, but we do recommend that you arrive at the resort at least 45 minutes ahead of your desired lesson time. This will give you time to purchase your package, pick up and get into your equipment, and meet your lesson without having too much of a rush. The Beginner Intro Package must be purchased no later than 20 minutes prior to the designated lesson time.

AGES 6 & 7 have their own version of the $49 Beginner Intro Package, too!  This special Beginner Intro is capped at 9 students per lesson, and must be purchased on the day of the class no later than 30 minutes in advance of the designated lesson time.  These packages are offered on the following days/times, at BOSTON MILLS ONLY:

• SKI:  10am, 1pm and 4pm on Saturdays only
• SNOWBOARD:  11am on Saturdays or Sundays

Please note that the Beginner Area Only snow/lift tickets cannot be upgraded to an All Area snow/lift ticket.
