- Helmet: The use of helmets is strongly recommended. Children age 14 and under must wear a winter sport protective helmet while participating in ski & ride school, subject to local regulations. In addition, children and teens under age 18 who participate in designated children's classes or programs must wear a helmet. Helmets are available for purchase in our retail shops as well as for rent in our rental department.
- Warm clothes including moisture wicking base layers, mid layers to trap body heat, and water-resistant outerwear, warm calf-high socks, and gloves or mittens.
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Sunscreen is recommended, even on cloudy days.

- Lift Access: All lesson participants must have a valid lift ticket or pass. Tickets can be purchased online with a group lesson package or separately here.
First time on mountain this season? Make sure you review and sign the waiver in your account prior to your trip.
Arriving on Mountain
Here are some tips for your on-mountain arrival, including parking and Express Lift Ticket Pickup if you purchased your lift tickets less than 9 days in advance.
The More You Snow
- Did you know? Your ticket gives you access to two resorts! Located in the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Boston Mills/Brandywine feature dual resort complexes, offering twice the downhill thrills to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The two resorts are a 15–20-minute drive apart and offer complimentary experiences.
- For the adventurer: Boston Mills boasts the steepest pitch in Ohio with the trail 'Tiger'.
- We have terrain for all levels. From the gentle glide of the beginner slopes to the more challenging pitch of the advanced slopes, moguls, and terrain parks, Boston Mills and Brandywine serve skiers and snowboarders of all ages and levels of expertise.
- Use the tools on this website to plan your day – secure lift tickets, rentals and lessons to ensure you have what you need prior to arrival.
- New this year are two lift upgrades including a new fixed-grip 4-person chair replacing the Lift 5 double at Boston Mills and a new fixed grip 4-person chair to replace the Lift 3 triple a Brandywine making uphill access easier and more reliable for beginners and pros alike.
